Giuseppe Malaspina (1910-1982) was an Italian race walker who won several gold medal in the Italian National Championships. Malaspina also was the coach of Olympic Champions (Abdon Pamich).
Giuseppe Malaspina won his first national title in 1935.
In 1935, 1941 and 1942, Malaspina won the Italian National Championships of 25 km.
In 1938, 1939, 1940, 1941, 1942 and 1943, Malaspina won the Italian National Championships of 30 km.
In 1941, he also won the Italian National Championships of 50 km.
In 1944, Malaspina was wounded in the World War II.
In 1950s, Giuseppe Malaspina continued as a coach. Notably, he coached Abdon Pamich, who won gold in the 50 km of Race Walking at the 1964 Olympic Games.
In 1979, the President Sandro Pertini conferred the title of Cavaliere della Repubblica on Giuseppe Malaspina for their sporting merits.
