John Arthur Ljunggren (1919-2000) was a Swedish race walker.

He also competed nationally in cycling, orienteering, running and cross-country skiing.
In 1946 European Championships, he won the gold medal in the 50 km of Race Walking.
In 1950 European Championships, he also won the silver medal in the 50 km of Race Walking.
He competed in the 50 km of Race Walking at the 1948, 1956 and 1960 Olympic Games and finished in first, third and second place, respectively.
Ljunggren continued race walking until 1984, and won the 20 km of Race Walking at the 1977 World Championships in the masters category.
